Naamah is Nanuk's half brother, having been birthed from the same mother. Both grew in the same bloodthirsty pack, the only difference between them was that Naamah used his charm and trickery instead of his brute strength. Though brothers, they never had a strong bond between them, too many differences in opinions to get along, but they always had each other's backs when the going got tough. Until that one fateful day of the flood... Naamah had gotten crushed beneath a tree that had been ripped from its roots by the winds. He had called out for his brother in desperation as the waters continued to rise, already he was struggling to keep his muzzle above the surface. Relief washed over him as he saw the familiar red and slate markings of his larger sibling hurtling towards him like a bear. As the lighting slashed across the sky, and the waters continued to rise, Nanuk pushed and pulled with all the strength he could muster, but the tree just would not budge. After what seemed like a frantic life time, Nanuk turned to Naamah with a defeated expression upon his maw "I'm sorry brother" he mumbled as if it was any consolidation. With a respectful bow, Nanuk turned and fled the scene, leaving Naamah trapped and spluttering as he gasped for air. "NO!" He yelled "NO! Nanuk you can't leave me! Brother!" But his calls were futile, pointless. Waves were now hitting the tree, forcing the water to cascade over him, drowning him. With each desperate gasp for air he swallowed the water that rose more and more with each passing second until his lungs burned, white spots burst in his vision until there was nothing but blackness.
