Biography
Randall was picked on continuously in his old pack for his inability to live up to his Darkseeker standard. Despite repeated attempts by his mother to convince him to kill, the young male could never bring himself to harm a fly, let alone a huge Lightbringer adversary. His refusal was often followed by a brutal punishment, a snapping of Jaws or a scratch to the hide.
After a year of no improvement, the order was given to kill the young male. If he couldn't earn his status, then there was no reason for him to stay. The pack needed warriors, not an aloof, clumsy male that could barely sit still. His brothers were horrified at the task assigned to them, they couldn't bear to kill their sibling, so they devised a cunning plan for Randalls survival. The young male deserved so much better.
The two males led him to the outskirts of their mountain home and told him they were going to play hide and seek. Randall agreed, he didn't question why they had traveled so far to play one game, and he didn't complain about the ache in his paws. He closed his eyes and counted to 50, and his siblings took the opportunity to blend into the shadows, leaving Randall on his own. It wasn't much, but it was a chance to survive.
It didn't take long for him to realize what had happened, but he refused to believe it and searched halfheartedly for a further 3 hours. Randall eventually gave up and ventured away from the mountain, and towards his new life. Jasper found him on one of his solitary strolls, running from several lightbringers. He fought them off then invited him to join the pack. He now spends most of his time training to hunt alongside Jasper and his future looks brighter then ever.

Randall means 'Shield Wolf' and he does exactly that. He is the balm in the pack that settles any conflict. Arguments are few and far between when this young Beta is around.
He is an affectionate, playful young wolf with a seemingly endless supply of energy. He is quite clumsy but treasures all life around him.
He is often considered quite aloof by the others but his charming ways and heart of gold can make anyone laugh.
Randall is a naturally trusting wolf and his naive nature has landed him in trouble before
Preferences
Randall adores playing for hours on end and when alone he takes a long relaxing swim in the clear lake that surrounds their home. He was rescued shortly after Nightingale.
He adores youngsters and when a new wolf is brought to the pack, he is usually the first on the scene, determined to bring them out of their protective shell. He's always sad to see them go.
He prefers not to fight, something that Jasper took into mind while training him, but he accepted that he needed knowledge of battle should a Lightbringer choose attack and he need to defend himself.

Randall possesses the unique ability to relax and defuse all those around him. His optimistic outlook and ability to see beauty in everything is infectious and no wolf can resist his charm.
