a wolf sits once more by the entrance to a place far enough away from the mountain.

a young male runs as fast as he can knowing what may come will turn them all to ash, as he nears the camp he wakes up his parents "WE MUST RUN Please mum wetalkedtosomeghoststheysaid"he starts trying to calm his mind
"we must get to the sanctuary, "he says looking behind him"wheres Leaping Petal"the older female asks,
"sh-she went up to look"he adds tail now hanging low

the two older wolves look down before the younger one speaks" the mountain its demons are waking up we must flee "he says looking to his parents
they both nod
three wolves head through the deep woods moving fast knowing what may come as they near a gap all move through it leading them to a spot above the land far away from the demons hands

soon the ground shakes and smoke billows out from the sleeping beast, before a deafening blast echos through the valley, the youngest watches in horror as ash fills the sky
for two days they shelter in the caves once all is done the youngest sits by the entrance to the sanctuary waiting to see her coming,
alas she never comes nor will ever see them again she fell not knowing wether or not they made it her last moments spent in sorrow and fear,

after all is safe they venture back the youngest heads to find his sister, only to see a wolf turned to stone by the bottom of the demon's slope, heartbroken he trudges back to the camp, unable to tell them,
unaware that from the woods a wolf watches eyes full of tears a mix of sorrow and joy she mouths to him knowing hell never hear but a wolf joins the ones in the cave a warning when doom is near

a wolf hopped to see once last time sadly the last time they saw the other alive was before all went wrong the night

she waits for him to find her in the cave were they last saw before she picked the choice that sealed her bound her to a stony tomb

now mournful and distant never told them what he saw
