I never knew of the danger below I never heard the rush of waves that took me away, my eyes only saw shadows, and faint markings of what could be stuff, it was the others who named me Sleeping tree

I recall only the howl of wind and cold of the rain as it fell hearing distant wails, all my senses told me to run but what way?
the cries of pups and young kept me took me to a different plane,
