Biography
I race through the clearing, my paws sending dirt scattering in their wake. This news is urgent. It must be reported to Snow and Romeo immediately. The pack's lives depend on it.

"Snow!" I scream. "Romeo!"

The alphas intercept me, rushing at my desperate calls. "What is it?"

I pant, trying hard to catch my breath, gasping between words. "Another.. pack.. Lightbringers!"

Romeo stands taller, more alert. His gaze flicks behind me to see if anyone has followed me; I know they haven't, if they would have, I wouldn't have led them straight to the pack. "Where did you see them at?"

"I didn't see them. I smelled them. And they're near the creek; but their scent was strong, so they had to be close by," I finally receive enough oxygen to gain control of my breaths. "They could be on their way here right now."

Romeo doesn't hesitate; he raises his muzzle and howls. Snow joins in, attempting to look stronger than I believe she actually is. The pack come in a hurry to their alphas' calls.

"Rally the warriors. I'm afraid we have a battle coming to hand," Romeo says.

I see his muscles ripple beneath his fur. He's angry. Angrier than I thought he would be.

He must be out for blood, and now it's our turn to be ready, too.
