Zeus earned his name on his second birthday, when he saved his litter sister from a fatal accident. She was sharpening her puppy claws on a tree when heat lightning struck and scorched the thick tree, it would have electrocuted her has Zeus not been right next to her and able to take the blow himself. And although his fur will always have the burn mark, his huge size was able to take the current, and he survived. Now, in his own pack, he protects his own all the same, no matter the cost to himself.
