I honestly don't do well with vacation or car rides ^^'
But this vacation was better than the alternative because fireworks back where I live are an overly out of control warzone of mostly illegal fireworks.

Biography
I am pleased to announce the winner of the writing contest... Asterifo Pack! *Claps*

He stood at the top of a cliff, his fur billowing in the icy arctic wind. His eyes, one blue, one green, twinkled in the moonlight. he was a wolf like no other. His name? Renegade. And this, my friends, is the story of his greatest adventure. It began when he was only a pup, drawn away from his family by an intense curiosity, and a yearning to see the world. He padded from his den, with bright eyes and a strong heart, tail wagging. his parents were asleep. they didn't notice him leave. By morning, he was long gone. Now, he stood atop this cliff, young muscles rippling beneath his pelt. he'd grown a lot in the last months. he gazed around him, and then down the side of the cliff. a smile twitched upon his maw, and with a loud, mighty howl, he leaped over the side of the precipice. he dove like a falcon after prey, landing on a ledge about twenty feet below. then, he leaped again, to yet another ledge. leap after leap, he descended down, eyes determined. finally, he reached the ground, landing in a snow bank. His chest heaved, and his eyes shone, as he padded away from the bottom of the cliff. It was then that he heard it; the roar of a mighty snow bear. in this icy world, snow bears were a wolf's greatest enemy. Renegade crouched, tensing, as the animal came into view. it was huge, with cold black eyes and a mouth dripping blood and saliva. it didn't hesitate even a moment, charging him with another roar. Renegade barely escaped it's trampling paws and snapping jaws. he leaped up and over it's back, causing it to grow confused and spin around. Renegade took the chance to latch on to it's hind leg with his razor sharp teeth. the beast roared in pain and rage, trying to shake the young male away. but just as Renegade felt his strength begin to fail, movement caught his eye. from the shadows of the night, a lithe female with eyes like ice shot forward, silent and deadly. She lunged at the bear, her teeth sinking into it's neck. the beast lifted itself onto it's hind legs, a gurgling roar erupting from it's chest as blood filled it's mouth. Renegade released its foot, and began to claw viciously at the snow bear's belly. unable to take any more, the bear fell back into the snow, it's blood staining the ground red. Renegade stepped back, panting heavily, sides heaving. the female released the bear's neck, and climbed off of it, her eyes focused on the snow bear's chest. "Who are you?" Renegade asked. The female didn't turn to look at him when she answered, "They call me Navigator." she murmured, voice soft. Renegade padded over, trying to see what she was looking at. there, carved into the bear's chest, was a black mark. some sort of symbol. he parted his jaw to ask what it meant, but Navigator cut him off. "It's the symbol of the dark one. there isn't time for me to explain, all you need to know is that he's after something. and I think that something is you." she said, her ice colored eyes locking on his. Renegade took a step back. a twinge of fear hit him, but he pushed it away. he was brave. so he nodded. "What do I need to do?" he asked. Navigator's ears flicked, and her little pink nose twitched. "Come with me." she finally said, turning, and darting back into the shadows. Renegade followed quickly, heart thundering in his chest.

His adventure had only just begun.

Renegade is your average brute--always on the search for a pack, selfless, loyal, courageous, you know, the typical stuff. He isn't the easiest to be-friend. Renegade is a reckless loose cannon that no one can control. Yet, if you get on his good side, you are guaranteed a rainbow with a pot of gold on the other side. He'll always be willing to support you and fight for you to the death. If you get on his bad side, well, watch your back. Renegade shows no mercy when another has hurt him or his friends, and he won't come alone, no. He'll have his friends by his side to fight for what they truly believe in. If you're looking for a fight, think again.

Preferences
First of all, Renegade cannot get enough of pups. He'll protect them with his life even if he has to. In his opinion, the pup stage is the perfect time to mold them into honest and brave warriors. He hopes that one day, when they grow up, they'll still think fondly of him.

The next thing Renegade has a deep passion for are young, beautiful she-wolves. While his brother, Dakota, says he's too young, he always replies with a "It's never too early to start a family". Renegade isn't the flirty kind, more of the caring, thoughtful one.

Last but not least, Renegade LOVES food. He has a massive appetite and cannot control it. If given the chance, Renegade will eat a whole calf by himself! Usually, Renegade takes the biggest kill he currently has and shares it with a friend or two.

Special Skills
Renegade isn't the best tracker. He often loses the scent trail rather easily, sidetracked by other scents and, surprisingly, sounds. However, Renegade has much battle experience. Hunting comes easy to him, for he has developed a style when hunting alone. Cause a distraction, such as throwing a stone, and while the victim looks at it, he strikes. However, it comes harder when battling other wolves. Renegade tries to pinpoint the weakness of the other wolf, whether it comes to a limp or an exposed area. As you can see, Renegade has his ups and downs on skills.
