Biography
I was very excited when I became the pack's official warrior. Before then, I would only be respected because I am the daughter of Althaia, the pack's first best wolf. They would pretend to appreciate me when my mother was there, but when she was on a hunting trip or wherever I would be the laugh of the pack.
I didn't want to live like that so I trained to become a warrior ever since I was first laughed at, which was when I was a pup. I trained and taught myself advanced moves to use in battle. I also taught myself complicated hunting techniques. Nobody knew of this for I trained myself, and not even Althaia.
When I finally chose to prove myself one day, I asked the alphas if I could have a battle with one of them and they just laughed. I gave them a serious glare and they found out that I was serious. Ever, the alpha female growled, "You could fight me, but just so you know, nobody yet in my life has won against me." I nodded and watched the pack crowd up around us.
We circled each other, snarling. The only wolf cheering me on was Althaia, of coarse. The rest of the pack had been snarling, "Dont let that looser win, she's weak! Defeat her, Ever!" I had grown angry and but I kept it in. Ever lunged and I skillfully dodged to the side, rolling and biting at Ever's hind leg. She yelped and stumbled, and I took that chance to claw at her side. She winced and lunged at me, biting my throat, but I was prepared. I kicked behind me and flipped Ever over my back. She yelped in surprise and fell. I clawed at her out stretched stomach and bit down on her neck, hard but carefully. That would've been the final blow but I didn't want to kill my alpha!
The pack gasped and fell silent because I had won. I pinned Ever down and snarled as a finish. Out of the corner of my eye Althaia was shaking with excitement. After a moment of silence the pack had finally started to cheer for me.
I had felt so excited that I let Ever go and she stood.
Smiling at me she said, "Kathleen, I think you at ready to be a warrior." I ducked my head respectfully, as well as the pack.
I was finally a warrior, and my mother was proud of me for it. I was never laughed at again, but instead, honored.
