| Oh, news came back from my mom, who went out to see who it was. It was the Mormon family a bit down from us, which explains the fireworks sounding like they went off directly overhead, they have a history of doing these fireworks too early. Also got the family, 10 or so people, out there to scream at her as she drove by too. In front of their kids. Which, not telling people how to raise their kids, but that isn't really a good thing to teach children. That's a lovely thing to do. What a show of patriotism and goodwill for your neighbors. (Very sarcastic there). |

| oh god fireworks- yeah not great in places with animals my dog is having a freakout because the next door neighbors are setting things off |

| Wayne, My childhood dog died because of fireworks. It was pretty traumatic. :( |

| Wayne A year later he's finally feeling better. It was hell for a while. Couldn't ride because every time I put a leg on he'd kick out or buck. |

| @Nymeria Yeah....it's a sad thing. Because most people love fireworks, and they're very fun to watch, the colors and how they look in the sky. Unfortunately a lot of people all have animals, and a horse getting a leg broken because the owners weren't expected this to happen is less than ideal. |

| Nevermore. Oh my gosh, that's is amazingly stupid. Like...oh my gosh, I hope your horse is okay after that incident. Same here, no idea why people decide that a place with many animal owners is a great place to shoot stuff off like this, instead of somewhere a bit less...uh, within the zone here, is beyond me. @Ghost Queen Yeah, unfortunately that's how it goes. People get a bit too excited for 4th of July sometimes, or decide it's close enough and start popping off then get the police on them for the noise and disturbing the peace. Not to mention fireworks within this area (outside of sanctioned events) are banned this year. |
