a slowly stumbles her legs weak from exhaustion, and injury as she fights the darkness of sleep beckoning to her as she staggers through the woods her legs give out the young wolf falls into a clearing where the mushrooms grew in a pattern

as her eyes close she feels the welcoming cold hands of death before all the pain and exhaustion fade giving away to something more, the wolf's eyes flutter open to see tiny winged figures flying around.
her eyes once bright had dimmed from death, but no ghosts she saw as power surged through her vains,

a whisper echos in her ears, 'you are safe rest for now little one rest and let us give you life anew, let us give you a parting gift'. with that a light flashes before the figures are gone leaving sparkles
