Character Description
Biography

He was born in a forest in the Western Lands in a quiet village at the base of a majestic mountain range. He is a traveller, though he does return to his home occasionally to check on his parents, family, and friends.

From the start Ashitaka was a daredevil and independent. He always was wandering off and getting himself into trouble. Yet he was raised with strong values. He once stopped war between his people and a band of no-good people known as the Anarchists’ but he did it in his own way. He made many decisions that broke laws of his people and made his people angry with him. His heart was stolen by a young woman he met during the time, a young woman who had dressed up as a warrior so she could fight alongside her people. Ashitaka admired her bravery and beauty. All this caused much trouble and sometimes made some situations worse than they were, but it was all for the good.
Ashitaka will basically go to drastic measures to do and accomplish what he thinks is right for him, his people, and his country. Often it will first be horrible decisions and make everything worse, but most often than not, it will turn out to be all good and well.

Ashitaka prefers to fight with a bow and arrow, but is very handy with a knife as well. He usually rides upon his trusted and loyal red elk, Zanel. Zanel and him have been together since they were little. They are very close, and both would be willing to “take the bullet” for the other.

People say that they have never seen a stronger bond between two creatures ever.

Ashitaka prefers to do things his way, though it may not be the best of decisions. But it always somehow works out in the end.
