"Yeah, I guess you could say I'm an adrenaline junkie. So what?"

Bailey Johnson, the most irritating female to ever exist on the face of the planet. And here I am, stuck with her.

"But that's DANGEROUS! Why would you do crazy stunts?"

"Because I want to, that's why," I snap. "It's not your life, so don't judge."

"Whatever."

I clench my fist. It takes all of my will power not to snap at this girl; she doesn't know who she's talking to, nor does she know who I associate myself with. Half of the men I know would shred her apart in a few seconds flat for blabbing her mouth too much. Let alone the fact that she's a hunter.

Who can blame them? I want to more than anything right now, but I can't. I have more attention from hunters on my shoulders than I'd like right now. They'd kill me if they knew I killed our hostage. Though.. that might be a challenge I'd be happy to take.

"Are you going to make me eat raw meat or something?" she complains.

"Yep."

"Euuugh! Why?! I'm not one of you. Don't make me-"

"Shut up or you're getting the ass for dinner," I say.

That shuts her up.

I don't know how much longer I can handle babysitting, but I guess I'll have to deal with it. At least if I make a bargain with the hunters, I can possibly get my old buddy back- if they haven't already torn him inside out to see his damn insides.
