| Rosa, I'm not sure if I can help at all, but as someone who lives in a homophobic house, I just keep everything to myself. Maybe you can try sitting her down and try getting her to understand that you want a name change because you don't really feel like your current name suits you. If she continues calling you by your birth name, then I would cut her off if your old enough. I plan on cutting off my homophobic family for a similar reason. |
