King of Kings.
A calm breeze blows through my fur as I look down from my sovereignty.
The low hum of war strums across the battle feild as I give out a low but authoritative growl.
A sly snarl graces my face as I look upon what was left of my army.
My father and his father before me would grimace at the sight of the death before me.
As I'm perched up on the hill of war I think of my life before this. A life with both my father and mother in it.
My fathers caring but stern heart and my mothers love.
Yet its been years since their passing. The only sound in my mind is the crunch of leaves before my paws and the mild whip of wind through my fur as I make the short march to their finale resting place amongst our ancestors.
As I lay between their graves and close my eyes. A world beyond appears behind my closed lids. An image of stars and the moon.
Memories of my past grace my mind as my breathing slowed to a slow thump.
