She had traveled from a far and distant land, a land that was becoming forbidden to wolves such as herself. Fights were breaking out, territories became smaller, till she could no longer take it and left everything she knew behind, the blood shed, the fighting of territory, the humans that caused it all...
She came to new lands, where peace and war was balanced. A place to where no-one knew of her past, the troubles she went through, the blood that she once shedded. She could finally breath, the heavy weight that once weighted her down was gone from her shoulders, now she could be who she wanted to be. Not some blood thirsty, power hungry, pup killing wolf... She wanted to be a caring, loving, gentle wolf that looked up to and watched over others, protecting them as she would of like her original pack.

The battle scars are a constant reminder of the life I used to lead. I was always on the front line, fighting for my pack. But I was also the one who always made it out alive. I was the survivor. The one who lived to tell the tale.
Now, I'm living a good life. I'm teaching the pups right from wrong. I'm showing them how to be strong. But I also dream at night of the life I'll have with my mate. I dream of a life where we can be together, without having to worry about fighting or scars. I dream of a life where we can just be happy.
The battle was long and hard fought. Many brave souls were lost in the conflict, but in the end, the good wolves won. The battle scarred veteran lived to see the fruits of their victory. Now, they dedicate their life to teaching the younger generation the importance of right and wrong. They share their stories of the battle with anyone who will listen, hoping to prevent future wars. At night, they dream of their fallen comrades and the heroic deeds they accomplished during the war. They are at peace knowing that they helped make the world a better place.
