Biography
Piaras Leopold was the son of Jocelyn Thornvale, the second daughter of King Aemon Hawthorne and Queen Zira Valeria. He was endearingly handsome with a dashing rogue smile, and fur that curled charmingly in shades of many colors. Piaras ascended to be King after the deaths of his mother and grandfather. Piaras's name was derived from two ancient king consorts in the Bron lineage, in order to bring good luck for his reign. Jocelyn never ruled the Bron lands. After their deaths, Piaras was reluctant to share intimacy--or later--power with a mate. He instead took many mistresses, though his favorite one of Lili Sunni, who was many years older and more experienced in love-making. Lili Sunni remained with the Brons for a few years, during which time she gave birth to Esmira Sabrina. Esmira looked little like her father save for her eyes, and was likened a great deal to her ancestor, the Sorceress Denali. Leopold was very fond of his daughter, in spite of his reluctance to grow close to anyone. Piaras was a formidable warrior, and was fortunate to see his line secure for no less than seven generations at the time of his passing. His closest friends in the pack were Garrus Vakerian, four years his junior, and his great-grandson, Samson Dances. Samson reminded Piaras of who he was in his youth, and Piaras often wished that Samson rather than Elaena would take the throne down the line. The next King of the Bron lands would be Elias Cypress, his four-time great grandson. Overall, Leopold's reign was marked by prosperity and security, and was relatively unremarkable save for the union of certain bloodlines. The only death that occurred among his descendants was that of his granddaughter, Tavora Asani. Piaras died of a respiratory illness on one particularly chilly night in October.
