Yip was born in spring to the foundress' heir. At first, she was mistaken for a male. During the spring, Yip made her first kill, a pika. During the summer, her mother passed away in a hunting accident. During the fall of Yip's fourth year, the pack moved from the mountains to the desert. Then, she found 10 mushrooms. During the spring of Yip's eigth year, the pack moved from the desert to the jungle. In the fall, she killed a Weretiger. During the winter, she and an outsider male named Jafar produced Scorch. During the summer, she became the first wolf of Talen pack to kill a spider monkey. During the fall of Yip's tenth year, the pack moved from the jungle to the swamp. Then, Yip discovered 20 mushrooms. During the spring, she became the first wolf of Talen pack to kill a black panther. Her daughter Silence was born in the fall, which killed her.

Yip is a quiet wolf, despite what I've named her - oops. She was noisy as a pup, but has grown into a submissive, eager-to-please wolf. I rarely see her by herself, always with one or more of her packmates. Maelstrom seems to be her companion of choice, as she views the older female as a role model.
