{Shadow's OC bio - A synopsis -}
Shadow is a 7-year-old male wolf, the alpha of his pack, and fiercely protective of those he considers family. Despite being born into his position, he has always acted with the wisdom of an experienced leader. Shadow is generally calm and collected, though his size and reputation can be intimidating. He is not a model alpha, as his pack - nicknamed "The Misfit Pack" - is made up of foxes who he considers family, including his sister and daughter. Shadow has a well-respected reputation among his peers, but he is not to be crossed in a fight, as he shows no mercy to his enemies.
Shadow's backstory begins when he was a pup and his father was killed in a forest fire. He was taken in by foxes in the area, and later, he discovered his father's territory with his new fox brother Frost. They ran into a hunter from the Raven Pack, and Shadow was introduced to Night, who later sought his help to defeat a group of rogues that had attacked the pack. In the aftermath, Shadow saved a pup named River and helped Night become the new alpha.
Shadow later fell in love with a female wolf, and they had pups. However, a pack of wolves was released into his territory, and Shadow helped them establish themselves nearby. When he returned to his own camp, he found it in ruins, with his mate and pups slaughtered by a jaguar family. In a cold rage, Shadow tracked down the jaguars and set a trap in their den, killing them in retaliation.
Through his experiences, Shadow has become a fierce protector of his loved ones, though he also has a softer side, as seen with his love for his family of foxes.
