Biography
Sparrowdance was the youngest of six pups given birth to by Queen Lucretia. Only Sparrowdance and her only brother, Prince Cassimir would remain in the Bron lands, with their young half-cousin, Sunshi. Cerena, Murlowe, and Scholaras--her uncle Bastion's pups, would not be born for another three years, when Sparrowdance's daughter, Ilyrea was already a juvenile. Sparrowdance was prophesized to bring in a new reign of prosperity after the Bron line almost died out. Through her daughter Illyrea and granddaughter Astral, it seems that the line of Bron would remain secure. Both of Sparrowdance's descendants carried one blue eye and one brown eye--representing the mists of Mystral Valley in one eye and the Gold Glass sea in the other. Sparrowdance was particularly fond of the males in her pack, though she had decided never to share the throne with a King. Sparrowdance only entrusted herself with that power. However, Sparrowdance never left the Bron lands, and with that she took delight in the talents of battle or the unique stories brought in by outsiders to the realm. It was such that her favorite attendants were Mistress Desdaemona and Cinderelle, though each of them came with their own issues--and most recently Eremita Vendetta, the foundling daughter of Bard Heartsong. She was a diligent and almost tireless leader, but she could grow bored with peace. Cassimir was her closest companion--at time foreign courts would believe too close. However, there was nothing unseemly between the siblings, only a friend loyalty and sense of duty to their pack. Cassimir, never having mated, was the ideal companion. Sparrowdance often thought she was selfish for keeping her brother so near to her. However, with the arrival of Cinderelle, Sparrowdance saw the opportunity to award her loyal brother after his long years of service. She knew more than anyone his reservations about love and designated the she-wolf into his charge. Of course, Sparrowdance would never fall victim to love herself. Sparrowdance places great faith in her young granddaughter Princess Astral to continue the line of Queens and already has looked for the wolf who shall become her hand--finding the most surprising candidate to be none other than Terran Reid, the son of the Artista Denarsi. Despite being the mother and Queen of House Bron, Sparrowdance can be demanding, shrewd, and vocal about who she favors and what she dislikes. Outsiders and insiders alike after often surprised by her self-absorbed amusement and sharp tongue--so contrary to her soft name. At the time of Sparrowdance's death, she had seen four generations of wolves born. Her daughter, Ilyrea, assumed the crown, and Astral became the new Crown Princess. Aemon and Justinian, her great-grandsons, swore to defend the Mystral Valley and Gold Glass Sea of House Bron together. She departed life without regret with a mighty legacy before her.
