Biography
There in a meadow, among the sound of birds frolicking as spring, had just begun. There was a soft murmur, as time passed the murmur grew to a cry. The soft breeze stilled.
A red wolf curled under a towering oak tree. Her body wrapped around a single pup, the last remaining mark of her mate. Though she was packless, and without her mate, she would never be alone as she unwrapped herself, revealing the stark white pup she had birthed this spring. Her heartfelt full, their lives had just started.
Hearing a snarl snapped Pulp from his memories. Turning his head he saw, two unknown wolves running at him. Another growl caught his attention two more wolves coming from his left, then his right. Within an instant, he was surrounded. He wasnÂ’t even sure if heÂ’d be able to make it if he had somehow broken through their defensive position.
He crouched low, feeling the wolf behind him try to lean in to nip his hind legs and suddenly feeling the overwhelming urge to curl up and submit to his death, hoping for a swift end.
Then it happened, if his eyes didnÂ’t witness it he wouldÂÂ’ve believed the she-wolf that stood in front of him had suddenly appeared out of thin air. She had ran into the wolf that once toward over him, knocking the wind from his lungs with a rush of air and a soft whine.
Pulp wouldÂ’ve stood and gloated if it werenÂ’t for the chorus of snarls that followed. He knew this was his chance, he broke at the fastest speed heÂ’s ever run. Glancing back at the she-wolf who had saved him he yipped, and to his surprise among the sound of his thundering paws, another more delicate pair joined. Following him, in one moment he realized. He was no longer alone. He and this wolf together had changed their stories. He would be a father, a mate, and a pack leader.
