| We will take dogs with a mild case, but this was the worst I had ever seen. The poor thing looked like someone poured sesame seeds on him. And I noted fleas on the dog last time he was groomed. SO I told the owners we would not be able to groom him again until the fleas were under control. |

| I'm currently training another groomer, and she had a dog the other day...poor thing was nine months old and INFESTED with fleas. I made her send the dog home. We had to deep clean and treat the whole salon, and we literally saw fleas in the salon even after the dog left |

| I kinda like doing cats! It feels more forgiving than grooming dogs. Cat people are usually very aware that cats never really look perfect, and we usually can't get through everything. So I'm a little less worried about the end product. |

| mags i figured as much, i have a groomer on youtube i watch a lot and some of the dogs i've seen her groom are nightmares 😭 i think it would still be a fun job either way, im willing to deal with whatever comes in if i can |

| Not to mention the owners that do NOT listen or insist they can get their severely matted dog groomed somewhere else way cheaper... |

| Saturn It is a highly stressful job though. It can be highly rewarding but also stressful lol. Sometimes we play with puppies, sometimes you have an 80lbs doodle trying to eat your face or severally matted lol |

| Magnus I just hit my 3 year anniversary, but the first year of that I was just a bather/training. So I've only been a full fledged groomer for about two years, and in November, I got certified to also groom cats. |
