Biography Favorite son of Queen Lucretia and bound to protect his blessed younger (half) sister, Princess Sparrowdance. Esteems Duke Bastion, his uncle, above all others. Cassimar always planned to live the life of a bachelor, watching four generations pass without ever a thought for himself. Only two wolves had ever been permitted entry into House Bron to remain--the Sorceress Denali, his uncle's dearest friend and companion, and the Mistress Desdaemona who brought both love and war into the pack--torn between Marquess Murlowe and the General Aurelius. Cassimir had a strong disregard for love. He knew only the service to his Queen and his nieces and nephews. Cassamir, who always cared for his uncle, fiercely believed Bastion had only succeeded by placing his feelings for Denali below the needs of his pack. Denali understood this--but she was a rare soul to do this. Cassimir particularly dislikes Sir Launfyre, son of General Aurelius, while having much fondness for the fierce Lady Keeta, Luanfyre's older half-sister. Cassimir always shepherded the younger wolves in the pack, forming a band of brothers--which included Sir Malabus, Terran Reid, and Montana Stride. This cluster of wolves were very close, defenders of the Bron lands. Terran Reid showed such promise as to be a potential suitor for the Right Paw of the Queen one day as Cassimir had always been. Cassimir was therefore content with his life as a bachelor, occasionally taking one-night stands over the years. Things would change when Cinderelle was found in the wilderness. By this time, Cassimir was in his much older years, though fighting had kept his body strong if not tiring. Cinderelle was middle-aged herself, by no means beauty in any way. The male wolves in the pack were not attracted to her, as they were to the Desdaemona. Cinderelle needed protection from those who would harm her and the Queen placed Cassimir in change. Scholaras concluded that Cinderelle suffered from dangers of the mind, more so than any outside force--prone to delusions and dark dreams. Cinderelle and Cassimar found beauty and harshness in one another. Cinderelle became attached to Cassimir, believing their meeting was destined--but Cassimir, realist as he was could not see it. One night Cinderelle's terrors drove her to a cliff. When Cassimir found her, he believed she intended to take her life. But Cinderelle only told him she wished to walk to the moon, which lay full over the valley. Shaken and resigned, Cassimir gave part of his heart to Cinderelle that night, and she soon became pregnant. Cinderelle isolated herself from Cassimir, growing more and more reserved, doubting her ability to be a mother. Cassimir in turn felt his softness to have been a mistake, and silence built between the two--as Cassimir still does not know Cinderelle was to bear his pups. Cinderelle carried her pregnancy quietly, to the extent that it was a surprise when she gave birth to one of, if not the most beautiful pups in the pack. So beautiful she was, that Cinderelle's heart broke with joy that someone as unbecoming as herself could produce such a child for her mate. From the moment Cassindra opened her eyes, she was beloved by her ailing father. Cassimir realized what he had given in duty for so long, now he would be unable to give to his daughter very long. He made sure that she was the most trained of all those in the pack, niece to the Old Queen, and the only child of their oldest and dearest male in the pack. To his surprise, it was Cinderelle who passed first, when their daughter was just a juvenile. Her heart gave out after she climbed the sea cliffs. As the three soaked in the sun--Cassimir, Cinderelle, and Cassindra, she passed away. Apparently her Nameless blood did not stay long on the earth. Cassimir would pass away knowing that in his old age, he finally was able to enjoy love, having given his life to many generations of the Bron House. It was peaceful, and his only regret was not seeing his pup through the years to come.
