One made of Clay, the wolf's eyes look to the distant woods as she recalls that day.

A wolf with brown fur looked to the woods as the glow of fire drew closer,
the smoke and flames drew her farther from the pack, the flames engulfed the woods she knew that safety was only a few strides way, the river would bring her safety.
tired from the run and the smoke that filled up her lungs the young wolf slowed.
tiredness seeped in it drew her to the land of dreams the shelter of the cavern's mouth did not help.

as she never made it in her head a voice nagged her on saying hurry little one safety only a bit away the river will save you.

sadly she was left to the scavengers an orphan pup loved by none, only three mourned her, three young pups alone in a hidden home, unaware that a ghostly shadow watches them her fur like the flames, as she hangs her head, in shame.
"my dearest ones I'm sorry mothers not coming home, be safe little ones" she says.
