Red sun fills the land as sirens echo, all around is the crackle of dry tender as the ragging flames draw closer a piercing cry cuts through the smoke filled woods as a mother calls to her pup.
her lunges horse from the smoke eyes filled with grief as flames surround her only kid before she got to the river, the roar of a humans tool is heard above the land.
the mother looks to the clearing unwilling to leave her pup but alas the flames stop her from moving farther.

a wood of black and stillness is met by an empty call a ghostly howl of a lost pup calling for her mom, many things lay on the ground victims of the flames.
now whenever smoke is seen a wolf watching from the trees her fur the color of the ash-covered sun's light red but her eyes show a gleam of hope green like the new growth.

a ghost of fire so young was she claimed many years pasted never can she recall her name, the one her mom called out before the flames took her.
