Biography
I was the warrior of the pack. Brought in as an orphan and trained to kill. My paws were hard as stones, my fangs were razors, and a growl that rivaled the rumble of thunder. I was a formidable opponent. The nursing queen's distrusted me with their pups and whispered rumors of my terrible thirst for wolf blood. I despised them, but moreover I was disgusted with what I had become. My blood red coat and emerald eyes always left the omega females swooning for a bad boy. But I never gave any of them a second glance. My purpose was to protect the very pack who hated me. Until Enjeru came along. She was not like the other females who wanted nothing but a fling; in fact she wanted nothing to do with me. When she reached a breeding age her father, the Alpha at that time, assigned me to be her protector of the only offspring of the Alpha pair. "You better not follow me around Furball." Enjeru huffed. "I think that is the very point of me being assigned as your PROTECTOR." I snapped back. She growled and left in a huff towards the clear meadow. I sat back on my haunches in admiration. What would make a female so moody? I shrugged it off and padded after her.
She was in the meadow practicing her battle moves when she spotted me and tried to act nonchalant. I smiled at her frustration of practicing without a partner. "Need a hand their princess?" I chuckled. "Do you mind getting ripped to shreds?" She retorted. She rushed me full speed in an effort to fake me out. I side stepped easily, while she spun on her paws and gracefully counterbalanced. I raised my brow in question. "Now where did you learn that, Princess?" "Okay, first up stop calling me Princess, it's Enjeru. And two, I may have been watching a few of your training sessions." She rolled her eyes and tried to hide the blush that creeped up on her face. "If you keep that up, you might end up as red as me, Angel." I whispered in her ear. I couldn't hide my attraction for her very well.
A few months later and we had grown inseparable. I was her shadow. Her father noticed and banned any further contact between us. "I do not wish for you to be romantically interested with my daughter. She has a mate lined up from another pack Goka. And in fact I forbid you to have any contact with her." "Do you even listen to what she wants?! You don't even know your own pup because you are too intoxicated with power to hear her!" I roared back and bristled. "I would have thought that you of all wolves would obey my orders. I brought you in as a pup when you were orphaned! And I can take you out, just as easily!" He snapped back. I lunged for him and turned tail and fled the den. The moonlight drenched the camp in silver. I found Angel by the drinking pool. "Come with me Angel. Run away with me." My green eyes implored her ice blue orbs. Her silvery white pelt shone bright in the moonlight, shrouding her in even more mystery and glamour. I whined softly and pulled her close to my chest. "I will take care of you my love. Have faith in me. I can take you away from this chaos." The apprehension in her eyes was killing me. "Let's go Goka" she beamed back. And we leaped into the night, side by side, running until our bodies gave out and we couldn't go on. We had found home.
