Cubo has always lived in the shadow of his elder brother and sister, being the only child of Io. But he loves his mother and though his father hates and curses him, he is strong for her. However, when Io finally cracked and left the pack for good, Cubo never forgave her. In his slow drive to dominance, Cubo IV has only to beet Orient II..
When Orient died, however, Cubo couldnÂÂÂÂ’t help but be sad. He took the position of alpha male with some guilt, as did his mate, Tarragon, with whom, together with his trusty second in command, Spottedshade (now replaced with Azor, since Spottedshade moved packs) governs the pack well.
Cubo IV has always placed high expectations on his son Cubo V, who he cherishes, and expects to become the next alpha as his eldest child with Tarragon. When he doesnÂ’t live up to those expectations, however, Cubo becomes disappointed, and wonders if he made the right choice.
