Biography
Shouts and barks of alarm filled the night, lights clicking on as the realization of a prized item`s disappearance became evident. Paws beating a steady rhythm below her, History Seeker tightened her jaw around the precious artifact, a leaf gingerly wrapped around it so it could be kept safe from her sharp teeth. Echoes of gunshots sounded behind her, giving a good reason to keep up her pace. One hit close; she saw the wood bits fly in front of her as a tree got blasted.
Yips and growls sounded some ways behind her, but she had such a head start she doubted any could catch her. They could try, but History Seeker was determined to save this piece from a lonely life behind sand-ice or studied by humans without any care. Originally she had had the twin of this relic, but it had been stolen by another pack. Saving its other half seemed like the only kindness she could give it.
"Almost there," she muttered, green eyes gleaming in the shaft of moonlight glowing between the branches of the trees. Her dream colored spots basked in the rays, turning a golden-silver, resembling the relic in her mouth. Finding a little cage that branched out in different directions, she weaved through it, heading away from the sound of her pursuers. Smiling to herself, History Seeker exited one of the caves many openings, loping towards another part of the woods. Tall grasses and shrubs rustled as she brushed past them to the centre of her packs den site.
A few pack mates called out greetings as she walked past, determination in her eyes. Going to her den, she carefully lowered her muzzle and dropped the leaf wrapped bundle onto the mossy bed. Other figurines and relics were placed similarly along the inner ledges of the den, restored and cared for by the she-wolf herself. Wagging her tail briefly, she nudged the relic into its own spot and rested for the night.
