The first Alpha Male. The beginning of the Original Bloodline.
Though he tries his best to remain loyal to his mate, Molly, he is willing to look for another wolf to carry his pups. The bloodline must go on, after all. He loves Molly, but his responsibilities as the Alpha Male are greater than his love for her.
And if she can't understand that, well, Scheuren is more than capable of becoming Alpha Female. He just hopes that it won't be necessary. Though it would break his heart, he can't deny that a part of him still loves Scheuren.
When Molly died, Slate's heart broke. Yet despite their history with each other, Slate couldn't bring himself to make Scheuren the new Alpha Female. Not yet, anyways. But the pack needed an Alpha Female. Then Tall Tales came along. And, well... Slate always fell in love way too easily. Though everyone was surprises, they accepted it. Scheuren understood. After all, she wasn't ready yet either.
