Morning gave way to to midday. The sun was a orange, red, yellow ball of fire suspended overhead, casting small shadows. Inside the den Violet awoke and yawned, lifting her hidquarters and stretched her legs giving audible pops. As she completed her morning stretch her body quivered slightly before returning to normal. She slowly stuck her head out looking around.
