Biography
Fog hung heavily in the air and dust was starting to fall. Shadows lay deep, stretching and blurring as the light started to die. From among the trees, the dark male strode his dark fur blending with the almost night glow. You backed away wars pinning, his very presence seemed dominant, he felt deadly and dangerous. He seemed more a monster than a wolf. One clear eye met yours, there was no escape now.

The muscular wolf made his way to you, and as he stalked closer the scars that littered his body became visible, shining in the low light. You also noticed his blind eye, yet despite his apparent battle scars the male was strong and healthy. You were under the impression that whoever gave him those scars most likely got as bad as they received.

Slate is not the first wolf to form a pack of Peaceful Vengeance nor will he be the last. Many years ago there was another pack that went by that name, but it soon split into two descendent packs.

One pack focused on vengeance and revenge, they desired nothing more than to wreck havoc on those that opposed them through any means necessary. The Vengeance Pack as it was named was the pack that Slate hailed from.
He was raised from a young age to crush those that oppose him and spent his entire life having to fight for everything he wanted. Even as a pup he would fight with his litter mates for food and affection, it wasnt uncommon for pups to be stunted or never reach adult hood. Those that were weak were at the bottom of the pack, or cast off. The elderly would have to care for themselves or risk banishment.

Slate was the toughest of his litter and became well respected and highly regarded in the pack. He held everyone around him at arms length, apart from his mother who despite the harsh upbringing of the pack cared for all her pups equally and showed others kindness. He admires her for accepting having a mediocre standing in the pack despite her ability to go so high.

So when his mother was threatened by the Alpha for feeding an elder who had grown frail, Slate chose to step in. He was tossed aside by the Alpha, too young to really fight and was forced to watch his mother be killed. At the age of 1 year, he had been orphaned and left by the pack along with the elder. Slate and the Elder named their own pack that day, Peaceful Vengeance and decided they would get revenge.
Eventually the Elder passed off old age, a raw and recent memory on Slates mind. But, they passed on all their knowledge onto Slate and Vixen who had joined the pack later. Allowing for the Peaceful Vengeance Pack to raise from its ashes.
