The old female's eyes stared at the last place she had seen the golden furred she-wolf. Her heart ached to see her again. She had raised the wolf as her own despite having no blood relation to her, and now she was gone. Taken by an ancient evil that she was determined to protect the pack from. As she continued to stare at the same spot she felt a presence next to her. "Hello MoonSong" She spoke, knowing that the deaf she-wolf was fully capable of reading lips. "Ravenous..." The female started but stopped as if to think her words over. "Mayhem wouldn't have liked the thought of you just sitting here..." The alpha stated, her eyes gentle as she watched the elder she-wolf. RavenousMoon released a sigh, "I know...I just... need some time to think...." She replied. "Mind if I join you?" MoonSong asked gently. At this, RavenousMoon finally allowed her eyes to leave the spot and looked the she-wolf in the eyes. She remembered when Mayhem had come back with Moonsong when she was just a pup. Much like herself, Mayhem had adopted MoonSong as her own. "Yeah...I guess some company wound be nice." She finally said as she allowed MoonSong to lean on her shoulder, and they both turned to stare at the spot. The same spot where the pack had lost their Alpha, where she had lost her daughter, where MoonSong lost her mother, and unknown to everyone else....Where the wendigo stole back his queen.....
