When a being sings a song so strong, so full of teeming, raw emotions that it seems to burst from them without heed, there's something truly powerful in that. Something powerful enough to create another being from the sheer willpower of another. This is exactly what happened with the mother and father of Angel from Hell. Her father, Rorke's Drift, was born from the war song of a powerful warrior at his last stand, moments before he died. He was born from the stoicism, the dying breath of a stalwart wolf who knew his time had come. His mother, Blind in Darkness, was the fury and rage bottled up inside a perfect angel, the hatred that they had never been able to express, the demon within that would not be welcome at the gates of Heaven. She was death and righteous outrage and an unrelenting anger that could not be expressed. When the two found each other, they knew that they were meant to be. Their children were warriors, full of passion and anger and divinity. Angel was from their third litter, a pup born during Blind in Darkness's brief stint in Hell after her creator was discovered by the many other angels and cast down to Earth. Angel was born to suit her surroundings, raised amid chaos and cruelty. Her mother could not love her, for in was not in her song, but she could guide her. Angel and her siblings looked out for one another. Archer, elegant and proud, could never fight like the others, but he could hit a moving target with a bow and arrow under almost all circumstances. Death Seeker was brash, obsessed with death due to a desire to escape this inferno. Vox Nihili was a killer disguised as gentleman, and he looked out for his siblings. When the Norse gods came crashing through their roof in a battle to the death, Vox and Death were fierce enough to join their fight. Archer had befriended a demon named Jack, who took him in. But Angel had nowhere to go. She knew that few wolves would accept a wolf that was part angel and part demon, but she finally found those who would.

So what, my dear friend,

Imagine that person who will hold the door open because it is the kind thing to do. They will smile at strangers in the street, give their money to those in need, think never of themselves but only of others because they want to make the world a better place. Now think of the opposite of that. Somebody who will close the door right in your face just to spite you. Who will spent their time making everyone else's lives miserable, hoard their wealth even when they do not need it, think only of themselves without a second thought for others. Angel from Hell is both of those. She is the cardinal bipolar, no longer battling within herself over her two sides but instead letting either show their face when they feel like it. Treat Angel kindly, and she will treat you the same. Treat her badly, and she will wreak havoc. Angel would gladly lay down her life to save another. She would also gladly accept a sacrifice in her name. She will hoard what she does not need out of malice, and give away that she does out of the goodness of her heart. All of the small, spiteful things are hers to do, and yet when she is truly needed she can always be relied upon to do what's right. Her temper is legendary, tipped off by the slightest evil, and yet she can so easily forgive those who do her great wrongs. Perhaps from this description she seems fundamentally good - perhaps she is. But it would take a good friend of hers (and few wolves have the patience to become her friend) to be able to tell you this. At first glance, she would appear to be unkind at heart, living to make other wolves suffering. And indeed, she takes as much pleasure in the suffering of mankind as she does in the happiness.
