Mario smiles, bustling and charming like a mayor or salesman. He seems perfectly at home and is eager to talk. "Oh, step right in, step right in. Watch the rug there! What a delight. Have a cuppa? Well then, please sit. What can I do for you? Ah, of course. I'm Magical Mario Sr, but you may call me Mario. I do an act here. Wonderful circus, really, it'll be good to get come publicity. Mario is not the brightest bulb in the pack. He was never a fighter, never that brave, and he was always looking out for number one. A con man at best, but never a very smart one, he's the kind of wolf who'll do anything for money. He's also a bit bumbling, easily confused, and has a good heart deep down inside. But he's a fraud, and everyone knows it.

Mario came from a very manly pack that was not too fond of simpering Mario, that pup who tagged along after the powerful. He was thrown from his pack by his own mother and father and spent some time with that lovely loner Venus. She bore their pups, but when the two were cornered by humans, Mario ran for his life, leaving her to die. He came back around for his pups but could track down only one, Maria. The two made their way to a new pack. After years of performing together, Maria ended up dead because of Racca's actions. Mario was heartbroken.

Mario wears a red bow tie, black and red top hat, and a cape that's black on the outside and red on the inside. He also carries with him a "magic wand."
