You approached her after a friend told you of her existence. She was known for being able to...well, get her paws on things that others couldn't.
The sleek female chuckled. "Dear, nothing's impossible to get, but of course, the harder to obtain, the steeper the price."
You nod, then respond to the female "Of course, you will be paid well." No one rips Maraud off. She hides the stolen possessions until payment comes. Sometimes more payment than agreed upon. Those are just the dangers of doing business with her.
But she always delivered; it was worth it.
There was something unpredictable and alluring about her. The way her eyes flashed, or the way she could dance circles around anyone without being caught. Some were unsettled by it, you were not one of those.
