It was cold
Too cold
Dani was lying on ground, covered in snow. She was shivering but was trying her best to not fall asleep. Elder wolves always told how you must not fall asleep when it's cold, or you may never wake up. It's been a week or so since Dani left her pack. After her mother - the alpha - died of illness, wolves started fighting each other. Her mother's pack was huge and they all wanted to rule. Dani's brother was killed just in front of her eyes and little Danielle knew she was next so she ran away. It was getting dark and Dani haven't eaten for days. She could hear distant footsteps but was too weak to move. A moment later, a stranger found her. The stranger had silver fur and her icy eyes quickly noticed Dani.
When she finally woke up, Dani was in strange den. There was another wolf with her in there. "I want to help you" the silver wolf said softly "I won't hurt you, what's your name, sweetie?" "...I'm Dani" "Where is your mom?" Dani stayed silent for a moment "She is... I don't know where she is"

Few years have passed, Dani grew up into beautiful she-wolf, Brie thought her everything and now she's been chosen to be the Beta. Her ability to manipulate others and find way out of most difficult situations proven her worthy of that title, even Ace can't argue about her loyalty. Her beautiful pelt, charming personality and hypnotizing eyes made her quite popular among other packs as well, there was a time when Brie offered to give her Alpha's title to her but she refused. Alpha life wasn't for her, all Dani needs is freedom. Dani understands that Brie is not as young as she used to be and soon she will have to leave to the heavens. Because of alpha's condition, most of the pack members are Dani's ofsprings. They are all her pride and joy, the current Beta Yardan is her grandson and one of the best pack hunters.
Still, no one knows truth about her past and about her mother. They once found her old pack den when exploring, but luckily her old mates were no longer there. Days are going fast and soon Dani will join her mother in the stars, from where she will forever watch over her pups, just like her mother did. She is hoping to have one last litter before leaving, to leave one heir for the Alpha's throne and hopefully find a mate for him/her. Her purposed was served fully throughout her life, Dani is happy with her life choices and especially happy that she managed to find real family in this pack
Relationships with other wolves
It's hard to live in a pack where one of the alpha's doesn't trust you, Dani knows that feeling. Even though many years have passed, Ace still won't trust her enough to leave her with pups or send alone hunting, he tried to argue with Briette when she offered Dani as new Beta. Briette is like real mother to her, she cared for her when Dani was just a cold, sick pup and taught her hunting and crafting. Another Dani's friend is Xahria, they have a lot in common and similar past. Yardan is no longer a pup so he rarely spends time with his grandmother, he misses his poor mother greatly and Dani can see that she will never take his mother's place. Lei is a loner so they rarely talk, but when they do it's a polite chit chat.

Dani is charismatic, charming and a little bit mischievous. She used to prank other wolves when she was younger, but now Dani is more serious and reliable.
Preferences
Dani enjoys spending time with other wolves, she is almost always first one to volunteer for exploring. Other than that, she also loves swimming, which is unusual to local forest-born wolves, Dani is pretty agile and can catch a fish using only her paws and after day of swimming, there is nothing better than to curl up under the sun and let the heat dry your fur.
Special Skills
Because of her charisma Dani is great at talking to other wolves and convincing them if needed, because of this she is often send to do diplomatic things like discussing their territory borders with other packs.
