A lot of times high gen wolves are imbred or it is harder to check through the lines to make sure they stay clean lined. I personally don't care as I like battle wolves and breed mostly for talent, weight, and boosts, so most of my wolves are imbred to a certain degree. It just depends on if you want to breed for super clean quality lines and sell the pups to a wider market and whatnot

Character Description
Biography
When I woke up, I was surrounded by strange wolves. They were all big and strong, and had multiple scars, and injuries, mutations and boosts. They were scary, and yet they still looked nice. I stood up, and introduced myself, timidly, yet showing no fear. "My name is Short Paws, and I come from a long line of defected and boosted wolves. I know how to hunt, fight, protect, and kill. I will defend all and any, even for my life." I sat back down. The biggest one, who I assumed was the Alpha, leaned over me. He was massive, and black with gray mutations. "Hello young pup. You are in the Den of Night Pack, and we are here to ask you something important." He rested back on his haunches. "Well" I said, "I will answer your questions, but answer mine first". I paused as the Alpha nodded. "Where am I, and what am I to be renamed? As I am no longer a pup, and have not gotten my adult name yet." I waited patiently for him to answer. "You are in our den, as we said before. You were walking across our icy tundra, when a caribou stampede came out of nowhere, and one kicked you in the head, but seeing as you have Divine Health, you survived. Congratulations." He took a deep breath. "We will name you if you join our pack, otherwise, we will chase you off our territory, and you will have to name yourself." He sat, and stared at me intently. "I-mmm..I will join your pack. I would love to. My own mother cast me out, so any pack is good." I looked around at the 20+ wolves in the cave. Then, one pretty she-wolf caught my eye. She was cream colored, with sleek black legs and a white slash on her fur. She had the prettiest blue eyes, and seemed so young and strong. I looked away as she caught my eye, and ducked my head in embarrassment. "Good." rumbled the Alpha. "You shall be named Blood Puddle-" I interrupted. "No. No deadly names. Not yet, I haven't earned it." I sat down, and nodded respectfully. "Ok then" he continued. "Your name will be Jumbalaya for now, but please expect to have it changed once you reach full potential." he smiled warmly and said one last thing. "By the way, my name is Nightshade. This is my mate, Cinnamon and Sugar. Our best wolf, who is my beta female, her name is Temple. She is to be treated with uptmost respect. She will be your mentor, and you will learn the ways of a battler." He gazed around the cave, and then let out a cermonial howl. The other wolves slowly joined in, giving me goosebumps.
