The messy-pelted wolf raised his head towards the sky; the winds were beginning to pick up at rapid speed.

"For just a moment, a yellow sky."

A hurricane was approaching the forest; there was no doubt about it. His pack had fled days ago; he had stayed behind to help the stragglers, and ultimately ended up trapped. He had feasted upon some small berries to keep him alive, but he wasn't sure that he could go much further without even a scrap of meat.

"When I was seventeen a hurricane destroyed my town; I didn't drown."

He began searching out a suitable place to hide; he was formerly a large, burly wolf, but he was beginning to fade away. Finally, he came across a small cave to take shelter in while the storm passed overhead.

"I couldn't seem to die."

And he reminded himself, "I am the hurricane."
