An amicable soul, she tried not to trouble many. As a pup, she grew under the wing of the former Beta, a refugee named Sunset. He taught her well, allowing her to easily take the role of Beta Female alongside him. As friends, not mates.
Despite many challengers craving her position in the pack, she held onto it with a death grip. Some say her pelt used to be pure white, and the brown were patches of the victim's blood. Even as she aged, less and less wolves began rivaling her, fearing an end.
Alas, at sixteen, she trains a youngling, wishing them to hold the spot as she had. Guiding this chosen pup along the great path is her duty, she declared. Many think age has caused her madness, while others say it was the bloodshed. Will we ever know?
