Character Description

Biography
Found by Wind Mother in the northern recesses of the mountains. He remembered nothing of his past once so ever. Wind Mother had had a vision from Root of the Mountain, showing that she too had found the future Alpha male in the mountains alone. She felt the connection and took him back to the pack. Wind Mother treated him as her own pup, despite the fact she had great grandchildren at this point. She named him Blood of Eagles. He was chosen as Future Alpha and mate to Leaping Deer over Bush. He admired her, and while she testified she was a year older than him, it was only a matter of weeks that separated their birthing days. He loved following her as she hunted, and admired her independence and inner strength. He desired to please her, and took time to leave her gifts, though never taking credit for them. He was grateful to Storm Father and Wind Mother and was friends with many of the younger members of the pack, Beauty of River's pups and nephew, Strange Cavern Jewel, Valley of Storms, and White Winged Raven. He started planning for his position as future Alpha at a young age. He wanted to be a good ruler. All the wolves in the kingdom of living die at age 10. But instead of waiting until their death Wind Mother and Storm Father stepped down at age 9. They wanted to watch Leaping Deer and Blood of Eagles and see the pack transition over before their deaths. Blood of Eagles was overjoyed to finally be with his beloved Leaping Deer. For the first time she acutally looked at him as her equal and treated him as another adult. He was so proud of himself when she became pregnant with his pups, praying that Storm Father and Wind Mother would wait to pass until they were born. They did not. It broke Eagle's heart when they died but his pups were born soon after. He rejoiced in them, and gave them the most lovely things and constant admiration. His pups were Talons Scrape Earth, 1 other son, and Fawn Flying over Grass. When his younger son was lost, he spent hours searching for him, nearly losing his mind. He took comfort in Leaping Deer. He was overjoyed when Flying Fawn had her first litter of pups, all girls and grew very close to them.

Personality
He is generous, and understanding. He believes the pack should be run with justice but with order. No one should challenge authority. This is why Earthbound Snow (who is famous for his idea of equality) and he don't get along to well. Besides that everyone in the pack loves and admires him. He is selfless. He would step in front of any pack mate to save them from danger.

Preferences
He prefers day time hunting. He believes it is more fair to prey. There is a opportunity for prey to escape. He doesn't ever kill young animals or animals with offspring (much to the confusion of Leaping Deer). She believes in survival of the fittest and that the pack needs food as much as possible to survive. But Blood is surprisingly merciful. He prefers pheasant.
