Biography
Arador is the former Alpha Male of the Arkytior pack. He became Beta Male when his daughter, Kimaris, and her mate Jasken took over the positions of Alpha when Idris decided to step down, and he and Idris stepped down from their Beta positions when Kimaris' daughter Nal'vera and her mate Wendigo came of age
Large, even for a male, Arador is strong and intelligent. He was chosen at a young age from one of Arkytior's northern neighbors as a potential mate for Idris. Idris chose him as her mate when she became Beta Female, and so, with her succession to Alpha Female, he became Alpha Male. Arador has few close friends, preferring to keep mostly to himself as he watches over his pack. Though he is quiet and stand-offish, Arador is fiercely protective of his pack, and makes quick work of threats. Despite this, he is the more diplomatic of the Alpha Pair, and is usually the one who takes care of any politics with other packs, though it's not his favorite task.
Arador's mate is Idris, and he is completely devoted to her. Together they have had three litters of pups, several of whom have gone on to join other packs. He isn't the most hands-on father, preferring to let Idris care for their children, though this is out of fear of hurting them due to his large size, not laziness. His first daughter and eldest pup, Kimaris, chose Jasken as her mate when she became Beta Female, and so Arador trained him for his eventual position as Alpha Male until Kimaris succeeded her mother.
Arador is close friends with Artemis, who held a high position in his last pack, but left and joined Arkytior after several bouts of infighting lead to his mate's death. As they've reached their elder years, the two, along with Idris, have enjoyed a sort of semi-retirement, spending most of their time together hunting, napping in the sun, and complaining to each other about the younger wolves, as elders are wont to do.

Strong, intelligent, and brave. Diplomatic, able to bring treaties to fair terms. A better fighter than he is a hunter when it comes to small game, but has no trouble with elk and deer.
Preferences
Prefers the snowy winters, as it reminds him of his birth-pack. Hates the hot, humid summer months as his thick fur makes it far easier for him to overheat. His favorite food is elk
