Fields of Verdun is a wolf whom initially seems out of place in the pack; unlike the majority of Dreamers, who are known for their good nature, friendly disposition and aversion to conflict, Verdun is openly hostile and unusually vicious. One of countless pups born amidst the monumental slaughter of the endless war between many Darkseeker and Lightbringer packs, she grew up with the idea that peace is but a fleeting illusion and thus, became a distrustful, fatalistic adult.
Although she was welcomed into the pack, she's feared by most and not a particularly well-liked member of the family, notorious for her knack for cruel and dark humour.
Despite her respectable hunting prowess, she dedicates most of her time to shamanistic duties rather than assisting with hunts - her talent as a necromancer is well known and was acknowledged by the spirits of the pack's past shamans the moment she arrived at the den. Recognised by even Oblivion, she was made a shaman herself and learned much from the work of her predecessors, becoming exceptionally skilled at the task of appeasing the angered or restless souls of those who passed away with unfinished business in the mortal realm. Her rituals are elaborate but morbid, frequently including bones, skulls and even offerings of freshly killed prey, whereas most other pack shamans typically prefer flower and incense offerings.
