Somethings start out as just a puppet in life. Her song was the sweet melody that woke the stars and lit the moon. But then again legends are just legends right?
It started out with a small, yet fragile pup, born into the weakest of all the pack's family.Her brothers were black as night and her sisters were white as day. Most were killed off for being weak, because a pack must stay strong. She's was saved, given as a gift from the alpha as pity. With no name she shivered in fear, hiding behind her mother.
The month's past and the fault in the pack turned into the beauty and the strongest female. The perfect one for the place at the side of the alpha, but she had her secrets. She had fallen in love with the god of the moon.
Every night her howl would pierce the sky, yearning for the things she'd never have.
Spring came and she was approached my the alpha. Teeth bared and tail up, she displayed her strength and will to live. No one had ever stood up to the alpha and he took it badly, leaving her lying beside the river in a heap. I turned night and the idea of dieing felt like heaven, but the thought of leaving and never seeing the face of her love kept her breathing. For one last time she howled her sorrow.
Her cries had not gone unanswered for before her stood the shadow of a wolf. Slowly he approached and licked her muzzle. Throwing back his head he let out a piercing howl that darkened the moon and shut out the stars. Blood red covered what used to be the moon and in her mind whispered the seeds of revenge. The strange wolf licked her throat and gave her a gift. A new name, representing all that she would do as revenge; Nexus. Goddess of revenge and battle.
