Danny's mother belonged to a morbid pack focused on selling off pups to kill or abandon. She was one of the few pups who had made it to adulthood and never tried to escape her pack. She had been paired up with many different males to produce many pups, and most had been killed. But not Danny. No, no, her mother wouldn't let them have her. Her alpha was baffled. Why did she care about this pup so much? It soon became clear, though. Danny's mother had made a Contract with God. She asked that she be allowed one pup of her very own. The alphas had no choice but to respect this choice. Danny lived with her pack until she was two years old. At this point, she met the handsome alpha of another pack and the two had a nice steamy night. This might not have been so bad if Danielle hadn't gotten pregnant, and if her lover's mate hadn't found out. Her pack was quick: they immediately kicked Danny out of the pack and left her to wander. Her mother, who had a new litter, wasn't too sorry to see her go - her pack had told her she could keep all three of this new litter if she let Danielle go. Danny went immediately to the nearest pack, hoping to find shelter. They took her in and she stayed with them for a few days. But she intended to move on and find a permanent pack. When she first saw Hrabro and his pack taking down a herd of elephants, she knew she wanted them. They took her in gladly, asking only that she work hard to become a fighter. She agreed. For a while after her baby boy was born, she worked at becoming a fighter. One day, her old lover's mate came and demanded that the baby be given to her. Though Danny's new pack tried to defend her, the other pack was far more dominant, and they took Danny's baby. She's since learned to become a fighter, and is proud of her accomplishments. She's also had another baby, who's all grown up and battle-worthy now. She was good friends with Harry, as she calls Hrabro, for a long time, and had a bit of a crush on him, but she thought he was gay and so never expected them to be together. When he finally asked her to be his mate, she was utterly delighted, but his mother didn't want them together. Harry ignored Danny for a while, and she vied for his attention. Finally he decided to just go for it, and they soon became mates. They tried to have pups, but the first litter died. The second attempt resulted in lovely Nancy.

Danielle is a friendly wolf. She rarely dislikes another wolf for any reason, and is never unkind. She also talks a lot. She talks and talks and talks and they can't shut her up. She's surprisingly good at reading other wolves, and shows great care for their feelings. Though when it comes to matters of love, she can be painfully oblivious. She also likes to tell stories, and goes off on tangents quite often. She loses her train of thought and carries on about something completely irrelevant to what she was saying.

Danielle gets along well with all of the wolves in her pack. She used to be best friends with Harry, and thought he was gay. And when she fell in love with him and asked, surprise, surprise, he wasn't. Now they're mates. Though she adores her son, she has that usual mother mindset where she just wants to strangle him sometimes. She likes Nancy rather better.

Danny looks after the garden. She assembled the greenhouse, and she makes repairs where needed. She pulls weeds and checks on the little buds every day. She chases off animals who try to eat her herbs. And when they're ready, she harvests them and plants new seeds. She does this almost religiously - it comforts her. She sometimes argues with Chico over which seeds to plant.

Memorial Maintenance

This one she's a bit more negligent about. She's supposed to clear the memorials of plants and make sure everything's in order. She chases off animals and makes the engravings on the gravestones when a new wolf dies. She doesn't decide who gets buried or what to say, though - that's up to Hrabro. She also leaves roses when she can.
