Biography
Perseus sat admiring his distorted reflection in the drying river bed. The water trickled slowly, given him a 'shaggy' effect, even though he was well groomed. He spent much of his time there, fending of potential enemies, and launching attacks on prey animals that ventured to close to him. It was much easier than trying to scent out deer herds which could be several hundred miles away, it was also a waste of energy. The sun was scorching hot, and the little shade that an over hanging willing tree provided was just enough to keep Perseus feeling comfortable.
Now, while admiring himself, he caught sight of movement towards his right. He pulled his head away from the water and scanned his surroundings. He pin-pointed his target-a wolf whose merle coloured back was facing him while she lapped at the water. Perseus was unsure if the wolf was male or female. His nose soon confirmed that the wolf was a female. He let out a low snarl and crept towards her, placing his paws carefully so as to not make a sound. The air was still, and if it were to pick up and blow downstream he wouldn't go un-noticed. The female would scent him and turn around. For now, however, he had the element of surprise.
Perseus came within pouncing range and sprung, pushing off with his hind legs, his forepaws colliding with her back. They tumbled down a slight incline, while Perseus wrestled with the female so that he'd be the one to pin her down. He was a large male, and heavy too, but he was still fairly lanky with an over-sized head. They landed in the shallow part of the creek and Perseus growled, standing over her. "Why'd ya come here?" He growled. His voice was gruff, nut that had been perfected over the years with so many females toying with him. He didn't particularly like females anymore, but he had turned the tables, /he/ was now the player.
He glared down at her, Her left eye was blue and her right was brown. He found it hard to concentrate with her hetero-coloured eyes, but he shoo his head. "I don't like trespassers, so you'd better have a good explanation as to why you're here." His voice softened ever so slightly, but he kept his guard up.

Perseus has also paired with Yamashita, who resides in Contemptible Desires #66668, due to Regala coming down with an incurable illness.

| Personality
Perseus has mood-swings which he guesses he has inherited from his mother whom thought of him as a bad omen. Perseus has learnt to control these mood-swings, however Regala has coped some backlash from him during some of his outbursts.
On good days, Perseus is able to enjoy the company of Regala and her soon-to-be-litter. [He did not sire the litter she is pregnant with.] On the days where his emotions are brittle, he finds he is unable to be around Regala because he isn't the father of her pups, and while he wishes to be a father and settle down, an encounter with his mother left the words 'You're life will be miserable!' embedded in his mind.
Preferences
Perseus prefers to keep the company of wolves whom are able to fight.
On the day he'd met Regala he'd challenged her to a fight.
"Fight ring." He said. "Ready?" He asked her, looking at her sideways. He had no intention of actually injuring her, he just wanted to test her. If he did allow her to be hanging around he wanted her to be able to defend herself should she be attacked. This was the territory of a lone male. He was constantly chasing off other males and defending his home, and having distractions around such as a female who was unable to defend herself as he'd be worrying about protecting her and himself, and even the slightest distraction cost prove fatal.
Special Skills
Percy's major skill involves his fatherly aptitude towards Regala and her litter. While Regala bore the litter of a rouge male who taunted Regala and left her at the first possible chance, Percy also bred to Regala and the litter resulted in three which were replicas of both him and Regala, and two which resembled the rouge. Even so, Percy enjoys spending times with all of the pups, though secretly he prefers the pups that are his over the ones that are that of the rouges, but he doesn't let on as he doesn't want to upset Regala.
