Biography
The moon was almost full this night, casting shadows even in the dark. The stars danced across the night sky, guiding those who have lost their way. The soft breath of a wolf who walked alone was one of the few sounds that pierced the silence. A wolf who’s coat matched the night sky, padded across the moss covered forest floor. This was the night of a hunt, a scared night to further the pack in food and in prosper. The she-wolf who went by the name of Divine Phantom, paused and watched a small fruit bat zoom through the air.
“Next it will be my turn to catch something, little bat.” Divine Phantom whispered, her voice carrying across the cool night breeze. Divine Phantom’s brilliant green eyes pierced through the darkness as a shadow moved in the corner of her eye. Quickly she whipped around to find the source of the shadow, but as quickly as it appeared it was gone. Her ears twitched, trying to listen for any sound. When that failed Divine Phantom scented the air, it was faint but there was something there. She was just about to follow the scent when something darted out of the bushes in front of her. With out giving it a second thought Divine Phantom gave chase. She ran on her toes, quietly following the mystery animal. Suddenly the animal stopped and turned to Divine Phantom, its amber eyes piercing her. Defensively Divine phantom growled. It was then that she realized the mystery creature was actually a wolf, an intruder.
“This is not your territory, get out before I make you” She said bravely, holding her ground. The intruder laughed, a laugh that sent shivers up her spine.
“You think you can make me leave? Ha! You’re just a little wolf, basically a pup. What do you think you can do?.” The intruder spat out. Divine Phantom’s jaw clenched in annoyance.
“I’ll give you one more chance, leave or you’ll regret it.” She growled out, her green eyes ablaze with command. She visibly saw the intruder flinch and that make her grin.
“No I don’t think I will, I like it here, and I might just make it my own.” The intruder said taking a step towards her. Before Divine Phantom could lunge the intruder did first, head first he body slammed her in the chest. Divine Phantom gasped, having the wind knocked out of her. She stumbled slightly and when he came at her again she swiped at him with her claws, her dagger like nails getting the intruder in the side of the face. The intruder didn’t miss a beat and jumped at her, his teeth grabbing at her scruff, bringing her to the ground.
“Give up little wolf, you cant win.” He said, his paw pressed against her throat.
“Never! You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain, and the only villain I see her is you.” Divine Phantom said before turning her head and biting his paw. When the intruder yelped she took the opening and stood, slamming him into a tree. A cracking sound came from the intruder and she watched as the confidence died in his eyes. Slowly and weakly the intruder stood, head bowed, his eyes not meeting hers. Divine Phantom howled, a howl in victory.
“Leave, and never return. For if you do, the whole of the pack will descent upon you.” She threatened. Fear was apparent in the intruders eyes, with as much strength as he could muster the intruder ran away, tail between his legs. Divine Phantom released a breath she didn’t know she was holding. With moonlight shining down on her, and the stars guiding her path, Divine Phantom looked to the sky, a clear path lain out before her. ~Spirited Away.
