Biography
DJ is by no means a beautiful wolf, by no means fierce or battle-hardened. But she has the heart of a warrior, and when everything begins falling apart, that's when she truly shines. She is by no means a fighter, but her heart is strong. She respects authority, and is always submissive to the alphas and her higher-ups. But one thing that she'll never give up is her dear pups. She would challenge the whole pack if she had to in order to protect just one pup. Though young, she has strong maternal instincts. She's generally very calm and reasonable, derailing conflict and talking through problems with other wolves. She knows what she's doing and has no trouble taking control when it's needed, and is refreshingly blunt when another wolf is causing problems.
DJ's mother, Brindle, is a rather plain wolf with a big heart and a fierce spirit. She was unafraid, and loved her numerous pups like each was her only one. DJ was raised with her many siblings, and her mother got no help from her father - he was from another pack, and had been looking for nothing more than a fling. Brindle was (and still is) a brilliant mother, though, and her energy never seemed to run out. She had time for every pup, and each one was treated with as much love and interest as the next. DJ aspired in her youth to become a mother, and as soon as she was old enough, she went out and found herself a man. Though she was by no means romantic, she soon found another wolf, Lucifer, who wanted nothing more than a litter of little pups to look after. DJ visited him regularly, and soon they found they were too excited to wait. And so DJ looks forward to her pups, and has given Lucifer the promise that he can come see them any time he likes. Now DJ's siblings are clearing out, looking for something better, but DJ intends to stay here and raise her pups with the help of Lucifer and Brindle.
