Monochrome Kiss had a wonderful mother, Joker, but she had so many pups that she could never care for all of them as much as they needed. They wandered free, and older siblings looked after younger. Chrome's pretty daddy was a hopeless romantic, and just as quickly as he had fallen in love with Joker, he fell for somebody else. Chrome was much like him at first: he fell for one wolf after another, and got none at all. When he was but a young wolf, he met a pretty wolf with a silver tongue who convinced him to join her. He left his pack to be with her, and they had a litter of healthy pups. And then, one night, she left. She took their four pups with her, and Mono chased after them. His mate tried to drag her pups across the river - two didn't make it. Chrome tried to save them, but was unable. He went back to his pack, seething with anger and wondering what had gone wrong. After that, he couldn't care less for love. Love only got you stabbed in the back, and you didn't even know why.

Personality
Chrome has a good sense of humor, and is a lovely, charming young wolf. Very well-mannered and always respectful, the kind who your parents would approve of. He's a bit of a prankster, and his pranks are often clever and sometimes cruel. But he always maintains his dignity and the image and having himself together. In reality, he's far more dangerous than he lets on. He's a bit of a sadist, which is why he hunts alone - he likes to play with his prey. He's a smooth liar and a completely seducer. He'll betray any lover of his without a second thought, but does it in a way that doesn't spoil his pristine reputation. He can become incredibly spiteful and almost deadly if his pack is harmed. He's positively terrifying when he's mad, despite not being much of a fighter.

Monochrome will flirt with any girl in the pack who won't completely ignore him, and that pretty much just leaves Gimmick Game and Lady Joker. He loves to flirt with them, but finds an actual relationship with either impossible, because Lady Joker refuses to get close and Gimmick Game knows that Chrome will do nothing but try to break her heart. Chrome has always wanted to have a fling with Ophelia, but is pretty sure Lawless would kill him. He rather likes Trico, and the rest of the pack he generally likes.
