Prompt for when I get around to it:
Timber doesn't seem impressed that her first kill was an Elk. The lack of acknowledgement from her mother causes her to wander off by herself. She encounters another pack and acts cocky as always. Her attitude causes the pack to anger and Hiicebiit saves her, sparking a young crush.
A young gray wolf trotted happily into camp. Behind her a trio of wolves dragged an Elk into the pack's territory. The excited juvenile quickly went to her mother, a off gray female with cream legs. "Momma, Momma! Guess what! I killed an Elk! It was my first kill!"
The female gave her a lazy smile before resting her head down on her paws. The young wolf whimpered in an attempt to be acknowledged. The older female turned her head away. "Please, Nonoma. Leave mom alone."
The older wolf said nothing else, unknowing denting Nonoma's confidence. She scoffed at her mother and turned sharply, storming out of her clan's camp. A gentle voice called out which she snapped at in response. "Don't you dare talk to me. You all don't care!"
Nonoma raced out of camp, silently declaring to never return to them and her mother's side. The female continued to run, not bothering to stop until she couldn't run any farther. She was now in an unfamiliar location. A loud snap echoed through the air, putting her on edge. Her head jerked around to find the source of the noise.
A flash of color passed by her causing her to flinch. When the creature had stopped, a pair of wolves stood in front of her; one a mix of cream colors and coffee stained brown and the other a wooden brown with a white back. The pair snarled at her causing her to flinch. She recoiled, but her tired legs wouldn't carry her in her scarred state.
