She was once a fierce and furious monster, until she found the love of a good pack. Her anger waned, and she became kind and soft. She became a mother figure, though she never had the pleasure of raising her own pups. But once her two precious adopted babies were taken from her, she closed herself off. She snapped at those she loved, didn't want to talk to anyone. Now she's cold, bitter, and just as angry as before.

Her father was a monster in her eyes: Bloody, fiery, furious, deaf. When her mother sent her and her sister to visit him, Velvel would hide. She was made by a Christmas angel - or, as Velvel said, a demon - and her mother had been given as a present when she was a pup. Velvel was her mother's "little gift." She and her sister played in fields. But when the time came for both to depart, hearts were broken. Velvel kept running away, trying to go back home. This is her latest pack. She's found friends here, and even somebody that she loves. Lycan, the alpha male, would be the perfect mate. But Lupe would never allow it. And now Velvel carries with her the fear that Lupe will realize who the father of her pups is, and she knows that Lycan will never look at her again after what happened that night. She's gotten rid of her pups, and won't even speak of the memory of Harou. But then she had someone else - another little pup. Chinua brought her such joy. When she was stolen away, Velvel swore never to love again.
