Why Nohime? : Nohime was Nobunaga's wife and was originally sent to assassinate him by her father if he was not worthy. However, she came to be intrigued by Nobunaga and ended up betraying her father for him. She was a rather beautiful woman and is usually portrayed as a depressed widow after his death or a seductive, manipulative vixen. In either case, however, she is shown to have a deep love for Nobunaga as well as a hint of kindness to his subjects.
